| You will remember that last year Professor Śliwiok said farewell |
| as Editor-in-Chief of Acta Chromatographica and announced |
| that I would be assuming responsibility for the journal |
| I would like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Śliwiok |
| for the effort he has devoted to this journal over many years, |
| and the healthy state in which he has passed it to me. |
| So, a warm welcome from me to all readers of this, the twelfth issue, |
| of Acta Chromatographica. As is apparent from its pages, |
| chromatography remains as vibrant and exciting as ever - its place, |
| and that of Acta Chromatographica, at the forefront of analytical science |
| remain assured. As ever, I must thank all who have contributed papers |
| to this issue, and the members of the Editorial Board |
| who ensure the quality of the journal. With your continued support |
| Acta Chromatographica can continue to go from strength to strength |
| and to serve the chromatographic community. |
